Willow Springs Learning Center in spotlight
Willow Springs Learning Center Principal Dr. Renae MacCudden and 4K teachers Kristy Cravillion and Lori Konshak told board members about the activities that took place during February Fun Week to keep learning both playful and fun for 4K students.
Hamilton High School students presented
Members of the Hamilton High School Science Club presented to the board. Students explained how Science Club gets students involved in conducting experiments, participating in community activities, meeting guest speakers, viewing demonstrations and engaging with peers in dialogue.
Capital projects status report approved
A list of projects totaling $2,653,500 was approved. Each school building has projects on the list, including items such as updated alarms, security cameras and ceiling tile replacements.
Early College Credit Program report approved
Nineteen high school students requested admission to the Early College Credit Program (ECCP) for the first semester of the 2026-27 school year. ECCP enrolls students into courses offered through a UW System institution, or an alternative private, non-profit institution of higher education (IHE), provided they are in good standing and have no record of discipline. The program is 75 percent funded by Hamilton High School and 25 percent from the state. If the student fails, withdraws or drops a class, the family pays 100 percent of the cost.
Start College Now report approved
Thirty-four high school students requested admission into the Start College Now (SCN) program for the first semester of the 2026-27 school year. The program allows juniors and seniors with good academic standing and no disciplinary problems to take courses at Waukesha County Technical College. The money to fund the program is budgeted through the high school. If a student fails the course or withdraws/drops, the family pays 100 percent. Transportation is the students’ responsibility.
Adjustment to Current Paid-Time Off Structure for staff approved
Compensation Committee members recommends changing paid time off (PTO) procedures for staff. Personal days and paid absence request categories will be combined into a single PTO allocation. Bereavement will also become separate. Food service and custodial staff are still managed separately. Vacation also remains separate.
Contract for co-op services through Elmbrook approved
The District signed a cooperative agreement with Elmbrook Schools which will provide services for students with hearing, visual and mobility impairments. The agreement with Elmbrook allows us to service students with unique needs in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Since 1983, Hamilton and other area districts have contracted for low-incident population disability services through a 66.0301 agreement.
Contract with Raptor Technologies approved
Administration evaluated systems designed specifically for school emergency management and is recommending implementation of the Raptor Emergency Management Suite. The district currently uses Raptor for visitor management. This proposal expands the platform to include a comprehensive emergency management system designed to help schools prepare for, respond to and recover from emergency situations.
American Transmission Company easement approved
Board members approved a resolution granting a permanent access easement to American Transmission Company (ATC) for vehicular and/or pedestrian traffic across a part of the district’s land.

- Preliminary notice of Non-Renewals for the 2026-27 school year
- Contract with Kompas Care for 2026-27 and 2027-28 school year
- Audit Services Provider CLA for audit services
- Board members participation at the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL) School Board Summit
