2024 Referendum Project Recap

In April 2024, voters in the Hamilton School District approved two referendum questions that allow for $25 million in facilities projects and fund $7.6 million of operational costs on a recurring basis. This community support allows the district to continue providing an outstanding education for students while also accommodating our growing enrollment.

Marcy Elementary School traffic reconfiguration * PROJECT COMPLETE *

PROJECT COMPLETE


On October 21, 2024 families began using the new 7 lane pick-up/drop-off traffic pattern. This has eliminated back ups on Marcy Road. Previous procedures included only 5 lanes without pavement markings. Bus traffic and parent vehicles are now fully separated by a fence to increase safety during busy arrival and dismissal times. The now fully fenced-in playground area is safe for children and separates morning bus drop off and play areas.
