Literacy Night to be held Feb. 25

Willow Springs Learning Center 4-year-old kindergartners will celebrate Feb. 25 the 20th annual Literacy Night at their school. Students and their families are invited to attend the activities from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will be an open house with five literacy stations running continuously.

Literacy Night is a fun-filled, interactive family night where students and a parent come back to school to play rhyming and sequencing games, learn about puppet-making and enjoy environmental print letters and their sounds. Students will receive a book and create a take-home project as a remembrance.

Willow Fit Kids Challenge to be held March 6

The Willow Fit Kids Challenge is coming up! All students will participate in a fit and fun obstacle course in the Willow Springs Gym on Friday, March 6 during the school day. After the run, children will be offered a healthy snack to reinforce the concept of healthy living.

Dismissal tags to be used all year

The dismissal tag (loop) on your child’s backpack will be used all year long. If it breaks or comes off, kindly let us know and we will replace it. These tags are very important to help us make sure your child is safe whether using the bus, daycare, or going home with a family member.
