Applied Engineering and Technology Programs celebrated
Teachers and students from Applied Engineering and Technology Departments at Silver Spring Intermediate School, Templeton Middle School and Hamilton High School were recognized for their award winning programs.
During the 2022-23 school year, these programs were named “Program of the Year” by the Wisconsin Technology Education Association (WTEA). All three school AET programs were recognized for providing students with rigorous training and skill development in the areas and concepts of technology and engineering.
Open Enrollment applicants on waitlist
All applicants from non-resident families to be enrolled in the District through Open Enrollment will be placed on a waiting list for the 2023-24 school year. Due to increasing resident student enrollment, the School Board did not create any new Open Enrollment seats in January. When the Open Enrollment application period ended on April 28, the District had received 151 nonresident requests for entry into the district. Administrators will monitor enrollment throughout the summer to determine if any space will be available for 2023-24 placement.
