Student handbooks approved

School Board members approved yearly updates for Templeton Middle School, Silver Spring Intermediate School and all elementary school student handbooks. Changes include minor language and date updates to accurately provide 2024-25 information. Templeton Middle School is also adding information about the grading scale, complete with letter grades and percentages, in the Report Cards section of the handbook.

Long Term Capital Improvement Plan and fund approved

School Board members approved an updated long-term capital improvement plan and a trust fund that will help the district plan for future needs such as replacement and repairs of roofs, heating and cooling systems, asphalt, carpet, lighting, computers, phones, cameras and other supporting equipment. Creating this fund allows the District to maximize state aid on a yearly basis, which has a positive impact on local taxpayers.

Many reports and documents were approved, including:

  • Membership in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association
  • Hamilton High School 2024-25 Co-Curricular handbooks
  • High school National Honor Society handbooks
  • Revised Employee Handbooks for 2024-25
  • Curriculum Review and Committee Representative Process
  • Additional Interventionist FTE for 2024-25
  • Renewal of Contract with Superintendent for 2024-26
  • Life Insurance Benefit Change for Retired and Active Administrators
  • Non-Group Salary Recommendations for 2024-25
  • 2023-24 Budget Amendment Request
