District families, help us ensure a safe and quick process in the morning and afternoon by familiarizing yourself with our arrival and dismissal procedures, including the drop off and pick up maps:
- Arrival – begins at 8:40 a.m. every morning, please do not line up in our lot prior to the 8:40 arrival time
- Make sure your child is ready for a quick vehicle exit on the passenger side of the vehicle
- Drivers should remain in the vehicle while child unloads
- As soon as child is unloaded then please follow traffic flow to exit parking lot
- Practice goodbyes, hugs, and child exiting the vehicle prior to your first drop off to help ensure a smooth process
- Marcy staff will greet children and assist them with where to go upon their arrival
- Dismissal – begins at 3:50 p.m. Due to safety concerns, please do not line up in our parking lot or dismissal area until 3:40 p.m.
- Display your tan visor card (found in your take home folder distributed at Great Start) for staff to see
- Follow vehicles in line and pull up to numbered cones and your child will come to your vehicle to load on the passenger side
- Remain in car while child loads
- After child loads please remain in line, do not pass unless directed to do so, and follow line exiting parking lot
- Pull into parking spot in lot if additional time is needed to buckle (this allows our line to keep moving)
Reminder – only right turns are allowed into and out of the Marcy parking lot during drop off and pick up times.
