2023-24 calendar approved
- Classes begin for students in grades 7-12 on Sept. 5. Because of Great Start conferences, school begins Sept. 7 for grades 5K-6 and Sept. 11 for 4K.
- Breaks will be Dec.23-Jan.1 and March 25-31.
- The last day of school is June 6 for 4K and June 7 for all other students. June 7 will be a half day and high school graduation will occur that evening.
Co-Curricular Activities Report approved
Hamilton Athletic and Activities Director Michael Gosz presented the 2021-22 Co-Curricular Activities Report. During the 2021-22 school year Hamilton High School sponsored 32 interscholastic sports (15 male and 17 female), 69 teams (36 male and 33 females) and 50 separate student activities. He noted that 95 coaches and 75 activity advisors lead these activities. Some 31% of the coaches and 95% of activity advisors are district faculty members. Report noted significant future school funding challenges and the need to continue providing students with high quality equipment and facilities.

Personnel action
The School Board approved the resignations of:
- Rebecca Leibiger, paraprofessional special services at Woodside Elementary School, effective Dec. 19;
- Brecken Ashenbrenner, special education teacher at Maple Avenue Elementary School, effective Jan. 6; and
- Galen Vine, paraprofessional special services at Silver Spring Intermediate School, effective Dec. 19.
The School Board approved the retirements of:
- Brian Latus, library media specialist at Marcy & Maple Avenue Elementary Schools, effective end of the school year;
- Gerald Cibulka, fitness education teacher at Hamilton High School, effective end of the school year; and
- Darcy Randall, special education teacher at Silver Spring Intermediate School, effective end of the school year.
The School Board approved the appointments of:
- Angelina Figueroa, custodian I, p.m. part‐time at Willow Springs Learning Center, effective Nov.30;
- Cheri Lang, paraprofessional – special services at Woodside Elementary School, effective Dec. 14;
- Amy Kommer, paraprofessional – special services at Woodside Elementary School, effective Dec. 12;
- Laura Hodge, paraprofessional – special services at Maple Avenue Elementary School, effective Jan.2;
- Charmine Worgull, associate kitchen employee at Woodside Elementary School, effective Nov. 21;
