Enrolling Your Child

If you move into our school district you may enroll your child at any time by completing the following steps.

Step 1 – Complete the Online School Registration

During the Online School Registration process, you will be asked to upload the following required documents to verify residency and your child’s date of birth:

• Two documents (one from each required category) as proof of residency
• Your child’s immunization record
• Your child’s birth certificate

The uploaded copy of your child’s birth certificate will be deleted once it has been verified by the district. If you prefer to bring the original birth certificate for verification, please email enrollment@hamilton.k12.wi.us to schedule an appointment.

Once your online registration application and all required documents have been reviewed, you will receive an enrollment confirmation email. 

The enrollment confirmation email will include instructions for accessing your Parent Portal account, where you can: 

• Verify your contact information
• Pay school fees
• View your child’s teacher(s) and schedule 
• Add money to your child’s lunch account 

If you need assistance logging in or accessing the Parent Portal, please contact your child’s school or email campushelp@hamilton.k12.wi.us.

Step 2 – School-specific Information

Once your child’s enrollment has been confirmed, your school will contact you with school-specific information and next steps. This communication may include:

• Information about your child’s school, classroom, teacher, and schedule (as applicable)
• Opportunities to ask questions about your child’s schedule, courses, transportation, or other school-specific needs
• Information about orientation or other upcoming events
• The option to schedule a school tour, if desired

All school-specific information—including school supply lists, before and after-school care contacts, and other important resources—can be found on the Hamilton School District website under the Schools section by selecting your child’s school.
