As a new school year gets underway, Hamilton School District is highlighting the mental health and well-being support available to families through its ongoing partnership with Care Solace. Care Solace is a mental health care coordination service available at no cost to district families that can help simplify what may feel like an overwhelming search for care.
“Each school year brings new beginnings and we want families to know they have resources available to them throughout the year,” said Hamilton School District Superintendent Paul Mielke, Ph.D. “Our four-year partnership with Care Solace has been an important part of our commitment to supporting the well-being of our students and families. We encourage families to remember that this service remains available whenever they need help finding care.”
Care Solace is free and confidential. Families can access the service in a variety of ways:
- Call 888-515-0595 at any time of day. A dedicated Care Solace companion will help to research options, secure appointments and follow up to make sure it’s a good fit.
- Search caresolace.com/hamilton anonymously to get matched with an extensive list of care providers
- Contact your school counselor for them to submit a referral on your behalf
“We encourage families to take advantage of the resources available to support the whole child,” adds Dr. Mielke. “Asking for help is a sign of strength, and families do not have to navigate the search for mental health services alone.”
