Maple Avenue Elementary School in spotlight
Maple Avenue Elementary School Principal Katie Ritchie told board members about the upcoming Engineering Garden Project and shared a school spotlight video.
Additional Certified Teaching Staff approved
Additional classroom positions were approved at Woodside Elementary School, Marcy Elementary School and Lannon Elementary School to address projected enrollment needs for 2026-27 school year. An additional special education teacher position will also be added at Silver Spring Intermediate School.
Open Enrollment students accepted from waiting list
Board members approved acceptance of 46 students in grades K4-3 from the Open Enrollment waiting list for the 2026-27 school year.
