Hamilton Business Department students and teacher recognized

Students in Hamilton High School’s Business Department Computer Applications class continue to earn top state rankings.

Students completed the productivity strand of the Microsoft Imagine Academy program, which includes the opportunity to take three Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification exams in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Hamilton High School students had six of the top ten scores in Wisconsin. The students recognized for this accomplishment who received additional certificates are:

• Ashley Mikl – Microsoft PowerPoint
• Andrew Emrich – Microsoft Word
• Eli Bilstad – Microsoft PowerPoint
• Jacob Jelinek – Microsoft PowerPoint
• Aubrey Sutton – Microsoft Word
• Owen Hanson – Microsoft PowerPoint

In addition, freshman Ashley Mikl and junior Andrew Emrich have been named Wisconsin state champions in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word respectively.

Hamilton High School Business Department Computer Applications Teacher Toni Hillmann was also recognized with an Outstanding Educator award.

Forty-eight students earned MOS certification in all three professional exam areas.
