The Hamilton School Board has approved the hiring of Dominic Bauer as Hamilton High School principal. He officially begins his new position July 1, 2024. Bauer replaces Rebecca Newcomer who submitted her resignation to pursue other professional opportunities.
Bauer has twelve years of teaching experience and six years as an administrator. For the last six years, he has been associate principal at Brookfield Central High School in the Elmbrook School District. Prior to his time in Brookfield, he taught at Pewaukee High School and West Allis Central High School.
“I am humbled and honored to be selected as the next principal at Hamilton High School,” said Bauer. “I look forward to working with students, families, staff, and the community as a whole to provide every child with every opportunity for success. Go Chargers!”
Bauer earned his bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He earned a master’s in educational leadership from Cardinal Stritch University.
