Hamilton High School Senior Earns Acclaimed Scholarship

Hamilton High School senior Brooke Stanley has been recognized as one of the country’s most outstanding high school leaders by the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation and has been awarded a $20,000 college scholarship. Stanley is one of 150 high school seniors selected from more than 91,000 applicants nationwide. She is the first Hamilton High School student to receive this honor.

Stanley was selected based on academic excellence, leadership and service. She is a change agent, positively impacting others in our community.

“There are approximately 17 million high school seniors in the United States. One-hundred and fifty of them are chosen for this honor. I am amazed that we are now able to call one of our Chargers a Coca-Cola Scholar,” said Hamilton High School Principal Rebecca Newcomer. “I am so proud of Brooke and her family. I am also thrilled for our District and those who have contributed to her education. Clearly, Brooke is an exceptional person, an all around brilliant student, distinguished young leader and a selfless volunteer and community member. We can’t wait to watch your journey, Brooke!”

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is the largest corporate-sponsored, achievement-based scholarship program in the United States. With the addition of the 2023 class, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation will have provided more than 6,750 scholars nationwide with over $81 million in scholarships over the course of 35 years.
