Templeton Student Council members elected WASC officers

Two Templeton Middle School Student Council members were elected to state and regional positions on the Wisconsin Association of School Councils (WASC) Governing Board.

Eighth-grader Shriya Venkataramani will serve as statewide president for the junior and middle school division. For the association’s Metropolitan Region IV, which covers seven southeastern Wisconsin counties, Venkataramani was elected president and seventh-grader Emma Suneja was elected vice-president. They will work with other state and regional leaders to develop activities for WASC members.

WASC is dedicated to providing leadership development for students in Wisconsin’s K-12 public and private schools.
