Hamilton students earn Microsoft certification

Hamilton High School students in Toni Hillmann’s first semester Computer Application courses completed rigorous technical training and earned Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification. Students completed the “Productivity” strand of the Microsoft Imagine Academy program which includes the opportunity to take exams in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The classes achieved a total student pass rate of 84% with an additional 28 students earning either one or two of the certifications.

Microsoft Imagine Academy is a nationwide program that allows schools to offer fundamental technology skills training and rigorous technical courses for students who are interested in pursuing a career in information technology after graduation.
