Hamilton choirs present final concert

The Hamilton High School Concert and A Cappella Choirs will perform May 27 in the Hamilton Fine Arts Center (HFAC). The concert, which is free and open to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m.

The choir will perform a wide variety of music ranging from Queen, Bastille and Kurt Bestor to a medley from Broadway’s “The Lion King.” This concert is the culmination of a year of hard work by 90 dedicated high school Concert Choir and 22 A Cappella members.

“These are the largest Concert and A Cappella Choirs to perform since I began teaching at Hamilton,” said Hamilton Choir Director Marilyn Mascitti. “The size of the ensemble has allowed for the group to perform some very challenging repertoire over the course of the year and the students have developed important vocal skills.”

Mascitti encourages community members to bring their family and friends to enjoy this final choir concert of the school year. The HFAC is located at W220 N6151 Town Line Road, Sussex.
