The Hamilton School District continues to monitor developments regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the U.S., including confirmed cases in Wisconsin. The health, safety and well-being of patrons, performers, staff, students and community are our top priorities, and we look to state and local health officials to guide decisions regarding public gatherings.
April 5, 2021 Update: Waukesha County has announced new guidelines for large group gatherings, allowing any size gathering provided that CDC guidelines are followed, focusing on social distancing, separation of groups, and mask-wearing rather than the total number of people gathered. The HFAC will continue to use a six-foot social distance standard whenever possible, allowing for a maximum of 250 people in the theatre, as well as continue to require face masks in our Hamilton School District buildings. We will continue to reevaluate guidelines and strategies as new information becomes available from the CDC and the Department of Health Services. Our goal is to stay safe to stay open, and the District’s face mask and social distancing requirements for students, staff and visitors are critical strategies toward achieving that goal.
