Hamilton High School Associate Principal and Extended Learning Coordinator Marquea Goike has been named a 2026 Emerging Leader of Waukesha County by the Waukesha County Business Alliance.
The Emerging Leaders of Waukesha County award recognizes rising professionals who demonstrate initiative, determination and a commitment to both their careers and their communities. Recipients are selected for their leadership, professional accomplishments and contributions that help shape a stronger future for Waukesha County.
“Marquea has transformed Career and Technical Education in her district, creating new opportunities for students while building stronger connections between education and industry,“ reads the announcement from Waukesha County Business Alliance. “In just two years, she has launched impactful initiatives including a comprehensive job shadowing program, a structured internship pipeline and expanded Youth Apprenticeship participation from fewer than ten students annually to more than fifty. She has elevated career readiness by increasing industry engagement, creating meaningful student recognition opportunities and ensuring career-connected learning is visible throughout the school community.”
Her leadership extends beyond the school community as she continually strengthens partnerships with local businesses and industry leaders to open doors for students. Additionally, Goike is leading the implementation of SPARK, an innovative profession based learning program designed to connect educators, employers and community partners in support of student success.
Goike has been invited to formally accept the award at the Waukesha County Business Alliance Annual Meeting on September 17 in Brookfield.
The Hamilton School District congratulates Goike on this well-deserved honor and thanks her for the positive impact she continues to make on students, staff and the broader community.
