The Hamilton School District is proud to announce the launch of SPARK, a career based learning program at Hamilton High School (HHS). This innovative initiative, developed in partnership with Elmbrook’s LAUNCH Network, is designed to connect students with authentic, real-world learning experiences through hands-on projects developed by industry professionals.
“I am very excited to bring these opportunities to the Hamilton community,” shares Hamilton High School Associate Principal and Extended Learning Coordinator Marquea Goike. “Our students will have the chance to work directly with industry coaches and professionals. This experience will provide Hamilton HHS students real, authentic experiences that make learning meaningful and connected to the real world.”
SPARK will provide students with opportunities to engage in relevant work that builds critical employability skills such as communication, collaboration, problem-solving and professionalism. Through multiple program strands, students will explore a variety of career pathways, helping them discover how their interests and talents align with future opportunities.
To celebrate the launch and deepen connections with the community, HHS will host SPARK Night in November. SPARK Night will allow students, families, educators, business partners and community members to come together to learn more about the program and explore ways to get involved.
