Community can contribute to Club Action’s food drive

Hamilton High School’s Club Action will host a food drive to benefit Sussex Outreach Services. Community members can contribute by dropping off food items Oct. 1 at the Charger’s Homecoming football game at Grove Field.

The club is encouraging students and community members to bring the most-needed items of rice, pasta sides, kids’ cereal, shampoo and conditioner as well as peanut butter, canned meats, chunky soups and beans. In addition to dropping off items at the football game, students can take contributions to Room 8 or S5 throughout Homecoming week.

Club Action explores issues of interest within the broader themes of human rights, animal rights, and environmental concerns.  Once issues are thoroughly discussed, the club attempts to create positive change both locally and globally through respectful and considerate methods of activism.

Hamilton High School is located at W220 N6151 Town Line Rd., Sussex.
