One hundred and four Hamilton High School DECA members competed in the December 13 Southeastern DECA Career Development Conference at Case High School in Racine. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. Collectively, the students earned 259 awards including 27 plaques for first through third place overall. Based on competition results, forty-two students will advance to the State Career Development Conference to be held February 23-25 in Lake Geneva.
