Hamilton High School students are holding a Homecoming Dress Drive to benefit the Cinderella Project. Members of Club Action and Amplify are collecting clean, gently used formal dresses through October 31.
Community members are invited to drop off donations in the Hamilton High School front office. Students are also encouraged to bring donations to the collection bins located in rooms S5.
“The dress drive is important because we are able to spread the joy of Homecoming and Prom with teenagers who wouldn’t be able to otherwise participate,” said Hamilton High School senior Emma Suneja. “There is no reason a teenage girl shouldn’t feel beautiful on such an important day.”
Club Action’s motto is “be aware, take action, create change.” Club Action explores issues of interest within the broader themes of human rights, animal rights and environmental concerns.
