Goike selected as Hamilton associate principal

The Hamilton School Board has approved the hiring of Marquea Goike as Hamilton High School Associate Principal/Extended Learning Coordinator. She will begin her new position July 1. Goike replaces Mark Otto who submitted his resignation to become principal at New Berlin West High School.

Goike is a familiar face in the Hamilton School District. She joined the district in 2018 as a kindergarten teacher at Woodside Elementary School. She went on to teach sixth grade math and science at Silver Spring Elementary School before becoming a Library and Technology Literacy Instructional Coach at Hamilton High School in 2023. Before joining the Woodside faculty, she was an elementary teacher in both Wisconsin and Arizona.

Goike earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Carroll University and a master’s degree in educational administration and leadership from Arizona State University.

“We are pleased to hire Ms. Goike for this important leadership role,” said Hamilton Superintendent Paul Mielke, Ph.D. “She is an accomplished educator who is focused on building strong relationships with students and known as a positive and innovative teammate. She will serve Hamilton High School well.”
