Hamilton High School students had the opportunity to meet and network with representatives from 35 local businesses at the April 25 Hamilton Education Foundation (HEF) 2023 Summer Job Fair.
Students were invited to spend part of their lunch hour exploring the Hamilton High School gymnasium where representatives from Sussex-area businesses were set up and ready to answer questions about part-time, summer or flexible employment opportunities suited for students.
Businesses were required to register in advance and encouraged to have application materials on hand, as well as other ways for students to actively engage with potential employers. The format allows students to learn about a large number of businesses during a short period of time.
HEF representatives report a tremendous amount of interest in the annual event from both students and local employers.
