Hamilton students inducted in French national honor society

Hamilton High School’s Société Honaraire de Français inducted 13 new members June 2 at a formal ceremony. In addition, 12 seniors received an honor cord to wear during graduation.

To be a member, students demonstrate commitment to the French language by completing French 5, having 3.0 or higher grade point average in French and 3.0 or higher grade point average overall. Hamilton French Teacher Mike Tennessen is advisor.

New inductees and senior honor cord recipients are Ellie Bestor, Panita Donald, Madelyn Gorgen, Lucas Hubred, Faith Johnson, Spencer Margolis, Kevin Phalphouvong, Trisha Shankar, Miya Skinkis, Grace Stefaniak, Lydia Thoummavong and Kayla Zsakovics. In addition, junior Dayton Licklider was inducted.
