The family of graduate Robert Williams accepted the 2022 Hamilton High School Distinguished Alumnus Award on his behalf at a March 18 school assembly. Williams was a member of the 1966 graduating class, the first that attended Hamilton for all four years of high school.
After high school Williams earned a bachelor’s degree at Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) in architectural and building construction technology and spent nearly 50 years in the engineering field. Williams formed his own company, Threshold Design, Inc. later known as TDI Associates, Inc. where he remained president until his death in 2018.
He served on several local boards and was a Lisbon Town Board supervisor, Pauline Haass Public Library trustee and St. Charles Parish Council member. He was on the MSOE Alumni Association board and was awarded the school’s Outstanding Alumnus Award in 1991. In addition, he was a member of various professional organizations.
