Templeton robotics teams do well at sectionals; Cyber Turtles advance to state competition

Templeton Middle School Charger Robotics team, Cyber Turtles, advanced to the FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) Wisconsin State Championship after a successful competition Dec. 18 at the Waukesha FLL Sectionals. Templeton team members include: Elise Fuhr, Shaanvi Konda Gopinath, Wade Gonzalez, Disha Deepak, Zara Sagna, Niall Hunt, Rowan Hunt, and Aanya Ranasaria.

At the qualifying tournament, Cyber Turtles was awarded the prestigious Champions Award, presented to the team that best embraces all aspects of FIRST. Cyber Turtles finished third place overall in the Robot Game with a score of 440 points.

Templeton and Silver Spring Intermediate Robotics team, Radioactive Pyros, had a great showing as well, and took first place in the Robot Game with a score of 460 points. They had the honor of bringing home the coveted Robot Performance Award. Team members include: Lauryn Heine, Tyler Pauli, Akshita Viza, Ethan Liao, Joseph Datka Jr., Tejasi Hublikar, Deekshitha Premchand and Audrey Almquist.
