Hamilton takes top honors in state as Microsoft Office Specialists

Since the Microsoft Imagine Academy program’s inception five years ago, Hamilton High School’s “Computer Applications” course has gained and continues to gain top state rankings.

Students in Toni Hillmann and Brenda Savic’s “Computer Applications” courses completed the productivity strand of the program last year which includes the opportunity to take three Microsoft Office Specialist Certification exams in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Hamilton was notified that three students took top honors in the state. They are:

  • Ava Zamora – first place state champion with a perfect score in PowerPoint;
  • Joshua Hartung – second place in Word and Excel; and
  • Keegan Wichman – third place in Excel.
