Templeton presented with state “Spirit of Excellence Award” banner

Templeton Middle School Student Council members were presented with the “Spirit of Excellence” banner from the Wisconsin Association of School Councils (WASC). Templeton learned in March that it won the prestigious award that honors schools for achieving excellence in leadership, sportsmanship and service to their school and communities.

Schools across Wisconsin submitted a detailed portfolio highlighting their achievements which was then judged by a team of leaders from Wisconsin.

In addition to the presentation of the banner, Templeton’s was recognized at the WASC virtual state conference in April. Student Council advisors are Templeton teachers Ashley Pfeifer and Mary Caucutt.
