Hamilton students earn financial literacy certification

Students in Hamilton High School’s Personal Finance classes earned a 94% pass rate on the national Working in Support of Education (W!se) Financial Literacy Certification test, and four students earned a perfect score. Students with a perfect score were:

  • Katelyn Richter.

A total of 98 students enrolled in Brenda Savic and Chris Oechsner’s Personal Finance classes passed the test and became Certified Financially Literate™. The Personal Finance course includes units on credit, housing, transportation, taxes and insurance among other future finance areas.
