Hamilton students place in National History Bowl

Hamilton High School students Dominic Pino and Andrew Tai placed seventh of 90 teams at the 2015 Junior Varsity National History Bowl in Washington, D.C. A contribution from the Hamilton Education Foundation helped fund the students’ travel expenses.

In qualifying for national competition, the students won the Wisconsin State Junior Varsity and Varsity Championship. They also were junior varsity champions for Northern Illinois and came in second in the Illinois State Junior Varsity Championship.

The National History Bee and Bowl strives to promote history education throughout the U.S. and around the world. The fifth annual national championships included the National History Bowl, National History Bee and U.S. History Bee.
