Lannon Elementary School will host a Veterans Day celebration Nov. 11 from 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. for students and the community. All students will participate in some manner by singing songs, performing a skit or sharing a video. Korean War veteran and school volunteer Thomas Kavanaugh will speak at the event. Lannon will continue its tradition of creating a thank you banner and delivering it Nov. 7 to the Veterans’ Administration Hospital in Milwaukee.
