Templeton chorus to perform for veterans

The Templeton Middle School Eighth Grade Show Choir will travel to Milwaukee Nov. 24 to perform a concert for the residents of the Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center extended care facility.

The concert, which begins at 9 a.m., will include a selection of patriotic songs, including such standards as “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “God Bless America” and “Armed Forces Salute” as well as several more contemporary tunes.

This is the fourth year in which the chorus has been invited to perform. Following the concert, students will have the opportunity to socialize with the veterans and their families.
