Lannon student takes second place in state contest

Lannon Elementary School third-grader Jennifer Foshey took second place for her grade level in the Wisconsin Rural Water Association’s (WRWA) Water Conservation Poster Contest. The contest was open to all Wisconsin students in grades 1-6. Nearly 200 entries from more than 50 schools were submitted. The finalists of each grade were posted at the WRWA’s Annual Technical Conference in Green Bay, attended by water and wastewater utility operators throughout the state. Attendees were asked to vote for the best poster in each grade.

Along with the honor, Foshey received a $50 saving bond for her accomplishment. She is a student in Laureanna Raymond-Duvernell’s classroom.
