Join the University of Wisconsin Varsity Band at 7 p.m. on March 10 as it gives a high-energy, crowd-pleasing performance at the Hamilton Fine Arts Center in Sussex. The band, under the leadership of its legendary director, Michael Leckrone, will perform many Badger fan favorites including music from its famous Fifth Quarter such as “On Wisconsin” and “Varsity.” Hamilton High School Band members will perform onstage as special guests.
The audience will be entertained with tributes to Ladies Who Rock including Little Eva, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, The Supremes and Carole King. Songs will include “Locomotion.” “Respect,” “Proud Mary” and “You’ve Got a Friend.” Enjoy a flashback to the ’80s including the music of Phil Collins, Genesis, Billy Joel, the Stray Cats and classic movie themes like “Footloose” and “Ghostbusters.”
Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors (55+) and $8 for students. Groups of 10 or more receive special pricing.
