The Templeton Middle School Eighth Grade Show Choir will travel to Milwaukee Nov. 20 to perform a concert for the residents of the Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center extended care facility.
The concert, which begins at 9 a.m., will include a selection of patriotic songs, including such standards as “You’re A Grand Old Flag,” “God Bless America” and “Armed Forces Salute” as well as several more contemporary tunes.
This is the third year in which the chorus has been invited to perform. Before the concert, students enjoy a tour of the facilities, followed by a brief reception in which they are able to socialize with the veterans and their families.
