Hamilton students place at international conference

Eight students represented Hamilton High School at the Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) International Career Development Conference in Atlanta.

The team of Halley Greeneway and Holly Rindfleish took third place overall in the Travel and Tourism Management Team Decision-Making category. They are the first competitors ever from Hamilton to finish in the top three at DECA international competition.

Other Hamilton students who competed were Kyle McClone, Chris McCormick, Cody Ellis, Ryan Zahn, Emily Rindfleisch and Sonya Ruminski.

Hamilton DECA was also recognized at DECA internationals with the School Based Enterprise – Gold Level Re-certification Award and the Diamond Level Membership Award. The team was recognized as well for raising $3,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
