Hamilton puts on “Musical Comedy Murders of 1940”

The Hamilton High School Drama Department will perform the mystery-comedy production of “Musical Comedy Murders of 1940.” The performances begin at 7 p.m. on Feb. 8, 9 and 10, and at 2 p.m. on Feb. 11.

Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. A special Family Night promotion will be Friday and Saturday in which two adults and up to four children will be admitted for $20. Valid Charger Activity Passes will be accepted at this production.

The story is about a creative team responsible for a recent Broadway flop in which three chorus girls were murdered by the mysterious “Stage Door Slasher.” As they prepare for a backer’s audition of their new show, bodies start to drop in plain sight, knives spring out of nowhere and accusing fingers point in all direction. This is a mystery-comedy that keeps the audience guessing.

The performance will be in the Hamilton Fine Arts Center, W220 N6151 Town Line Road, Sussex.
