Students, families and staff will gather March 22 to celebrate the academic accomplishments of more than 320 high school students at the Academic Awards Banquet. The 14th annual event will begin at 6 p.m. in the school gymnasium.
The Academic Awards Banquet is coordinated by the National Honor Society to honor students who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above. Students receive academic letters, chevrons, pins or certificates depending on the number of semesters they have achieved a 3.5 grade point average.
This year’s theme is “The Brightest Crayons.” The guest speaker is Hamilton communication arts teacher Debra Figueroa and students will provide musical entertainment.
