The Retired and Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP) and Hamilton School District are looking for senior citizens willing to volunteer their time and talents in schools. Activities include tutoring children in reading and math, helping with classroom activities or doing clerical work. Even those who are not able to come to school could help out by being a pen pal to elementary school students, cutting items for bulletin boards or reading books on tape.
If you have extra time during the week and are interested in helping children, please call Seniors & Students Program Coordinator Beth McFadzen at (262) 246-1973 ext. 1524 or the RSVP office at (262) 544-9559.
