Wisconsin Statute 120.12(13) requires that annually, on the first school board meeting of the school year, that the Board of Education identify the academic standards adopted by the Board under section 118.30(1g)(a)1 of the statutes which will be in effect for the upcoming school year.
The individual curricula for each content area, including specific learning targets and related student “I can…” statements for each grade level, grade band or course are identified and adopted by the Hamilton Board of Education on a prescribed cycle. Listed below are the overarching essential learning targets for each of the curricular areas required under the notice. Copies of all learning targets and curriculum documents for each content area adopted by the Board of Education are available in the district office. Additionally, parent guides for 4K-8 and course catalogs for Templeton Middle School and Hamilton High School are available on the district website.
