Members of the Supercharged Rebels Robotics Team from Templeton Middle School and Silver Spring Intermediate School proudly represented Wisconsin at the WAFFLE FIRST® LEGO League Invitational in Worcester, Massachusetts from June 11–14.
Supercharged Rebels Robotics teammates competed against more than 100 teams from 30 states and more than 20 countries. They are incredibly proud to have placed second in the list of Finalists for the Innovation Project Award and to have ranked 17th for their top robot run score.
The FIRST LEGO League Challenge is a global STEM program that combines robotics, research, innovation and friendly competition to solve real-world problems. Through the program, students design and program robots, develop innovative solutions to practice teamwork and problem-solving. The season theme “Unearthed” focused on archaeology and the team solved the important problem of transporting artifacts through a custom 3D printed solution. Team members have put in tremendous effort not only in innovation and robot performance, but also in the areas of core values, team building and fun outreach activities.
Supercharged Rebels Robotics would like to thank Silver Spring Intermediate School and Templeton Middle School administrators for their support. They would also like to share a special thank you to Charger Robotics, Booster Club and the archaeology and 3D printing experts who helped throughout the season. Supercharged Rebels Robotics looks forward to the 2026-27 school year.
