In celebration of Youth Art Month, the artwork of students from throughout the Hamilton School District will be on display during March at the Pauline Haass Public Library in Sussex. The public is invited to view the artwork during regular library hours.

“Youth Art Month reflects the pride this community takes in its young people,” explains Pauline Haass Public Library Director Adele Loria. “When their artwork transforms the library and the building fills with families, friends, and neighbors to celebrate, it sends a clear message that the students’ ideas, effort, and creativity matter. It’s a tradition that brings the community together each spring and showcases not only remarkable talent, but the confidence and creativity we’re proud to nurture here in Sussex.”
Youth Art Month is celebrated each year to emphasize the value of art education for all children and to encourage public support for quality school art programs. It began in 1961 as Children’s Art Month and is administered by the Council for Art Education.
