Hamilton Business Department students and teacher recognized

Students in Hamilton High School’s Business Department Computer Applications class continue to earn top state rankings while their teacher is recognized as an outstanding educator.

Students completed the productivity strand of the Microsoft Imagine Academy program which includes the opportunity to take three Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification exams in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

For the second year in a row, Hamilton High School students had five of the top ten scores in Wisconsin on the Microsoft Office Specialist – Word and Excel Exam. The students recognized for this accomplishment who received additional certificates are:

• Ashley Mikl – second place Microsoft Word
• Eli Bilstad – third place Microsoft Word
• Jacob Jelinek – fourth place Microsoft Excel
• Matheus Prado De Jesus – fifth place Microsoft Excel and ninth place Microsoft Word

Forty-eight students overall earned MOS certification in all three professional exam areas.

Additionally, Hamilton High School Business Department Computer Applications Teacher Toni Hillmann was recognized with the Outstanding Educator award.
