Hamilton High School senior Shannon O’Dwyer is conducting a campaign to help Thirst Project, a nonprofit organization that works with schools to help end the global water crisis by building freshwater wells for underdeveloped countries.
O’Dwyer organized the fundraising campaign as part of a project in her Advanced Placement language arts class. Her goal is to raise $12,000, enough money for a community well. Details about the project and a link to contribute are on O’Dwyer’s Thirst Project webpage.
