When to arrive and late arrivals

The theatre opens 30 minutes prior to the start of each show. Out of courtesy to the performers and audience, patrons arriving after the performance has begun will be seated at a suitable break in the show at the discretion of House Management, possibly not until the first intermission. Initially, latecomers may be seated at the back of the theater and may not be allowed to move to their assigned seats until intermission.

Food and Beverage

To help preserve the beauty of our theatre and ensure our limited building budget is directed toward supporting our performers—rather than cleaning and repairs—we kindly ask that no food or beverages be brought into the theatre. Additionally, our venue often operates on tight turnaround schedules to accommodate multiple performances in a single day, making it especially important to maintain a clean and ready space for all. Thank you for your support!

ADA Compliance and Service Animals

The Hamilton Fine Arts Center features a large parking lot located on the south side of the building, offering convenient access to the theatre’s main lobby. Accessible parking spaces and a wheelchair ramp leading to wheelchair accessible doors are available to ensure easy entry for all guests.

Our theatre includes eight designated wheelchair seating locations, each with a reserved companion seat for your convenience. If you need assistance, please ask a member of our Patron Services team.

In accordance with fire code regulations, all rows and aisles must remain clear at all times. Therefore, baby carriers and strollers are not permitted inside the theatre unless they can be accommodated within designated ADA seating areas. Please note that wheelchair users always have priority for these spaces. Our ushers will be happy to assist with storing these items during the performance.

Only service animals trained to perform a specific task are permitted in the Hamilton Fine Arts Center. For the safety and comfort of both the service animal and its handler, designated seating areas with additional space are available in Rows A and O. Please ask a member of our Patron Services team for assistance. For more information regarding the use of service animals on school grounds, please refer to the Hamilton School District guidelines.

Children

Patrons are discouraged from bringing children under the age of six to performances unless the event is specifically designed for or appropriate for younger audiences. All attendees, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket.

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, children must remain seated throughout the performance. In accordance with fire code regulations, baby carriers, booster seats and strollers are not permitted inside the theatre unless they can be accommodated within designated ADA seating areas. Please note that wheelchair users always have priority for these spaces.

Food and beverages are not allowed in the theatre at any time, including juice cups and children’s snacks.

Golden Agers Passes

The Hamilton School District offers Golden Agers Passes to residents and students’ grandparents who are 60 years and older. The passes allow people to attend student performances that occur in the district — such as athletic, music and drama events — free of charge. The passes are not intended for events in the Hamilton Fine Arts Center that involve outside groups.  Those who do not have a Golden Agers Pass can obtain them Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. in the Public Information Office at Hamilton High School.

To redeem your pass for eligible ticketed district events, please show your Golden Agers Pass along with a photo I.D. at the door beginning 30 minutes prior to the start of the show.

Tickets may also be purchased online using the code printed on your pass. Your Golden Agers Pass, along with the ticket and a photo I.D., will be required at the door.

Tickets are subject to availability.
