Position Goal: Under the direction of the classroom teacher, assist students on an individual basis or in small groups with academic and/or social skills; assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and assist with testing and make-up work; supervise students in the lunchroom and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Ability to build strong relationships with children and adults, ability to communicate instructions and directions clearly and effectively to students, experience working with computers, possess strong communication, collaboration, problem solving and organization skills; previous work in a classroom setting and/or teaching experience preferred.

Position Goal: To perform the administrative support duties and responsibilities as a member of the Business Services team in order to advance the district goals and objectives.

Qualifications: High school diploma required; experience in payroll processing preferred.  Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and G-Suite products. Experience with Skyward Financial System preferred. Proficiency in math skills including general accounting procedures and a willingness to upgrade technical skills as needed.  Able to work independently and as a team using individual judgment, confidentiality and initiative. 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Receives and computes all payrolls, making deductions for income tax, retirement, health and medical insurance, and other necessary deductions. Maintains paper and electronic timekeeping system, ensuring accurate and timely submission of payroll records.
  • Prepares reports and checks for proper agencies covering all deductions including 403(b)’s and state retirement. 
  • Maintains records covering all deductions and benefits.
  • Prepares tax forms relating to payroll matters.
  • Assists in recording of staff leaves and absences.
  • Processes checks or direct deposits to employees as required.
  • Assists in processing data for the district health insurance program.
  • Verifies all amounts before and after payments are processed.
  • Operates office equipment and other technological devices associated with the position.
  • Obtains, gathers, and organizes pertinent data for reports as needed and puts it into a useful format.
  • Responds to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner.
