Hamilton announces change in before and after school care provider for 2026-27

Hamilton School District announces a new partnership with Right At School, a nationally recognized school enrichment provider, to offer before and after school care beginning in the 2026-27 school year. The transition follows a comprehensive review to ensure the district continues to meet the needs of students and families and was approved at the January 26 School Board meeting.

This new collaboration will bring students and families greater flexibility, expanded program opportunities and wider access. Right At School programming will be offered at Silver Spring Intermediate School, all elementary schools and Willow Springs Learning Center. Wrap around care will also be available for students enrolled in half-day 4K during the 2026-27 school year.

Highlights of the new partnership with Right At School include:

  • Registration begins March 23 and stays open through duration of current school year
  • No increase to current before and after school care rates
  • No changes to current program hours
  • Discounts for siblings, military families and families who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch
  • Program offerings during winter break, spring break and non-school days

Additional information about the new provider, program details, enrollment timelines and next steps will be shared with families well in advance of the 2026–27 school year to support a smooth transition:

The Hamilton School District remains committed to providing safe, supportive and high-quality care for students outside of the regular school day. We appreciate the understanding and partnership of our families and community as we move forward with this transition.
