In this class, students will create 3 different board projects from scratch. The projects we will work on are String Art, an Independence Day sign, Wooden Plaques and more. Students must come with a willingness to use a hammer, nails, glue, paint and more and are encouraged to bring an art smock to class.

Book Cooks combines reading with delicious snacks. Each week, students will gather in small groups to create snacks that correspond to the week’s theme. Love taking pictures? This class is for the aspiring photographer. See the world through a new lens as you develop skills in basic digital camera handling such as how to shoot, save, edit, and print digital photos. You will develop skills in digital camera handling, awareness of light, taking portraits and nature pictures, action photos, and special events. This class will combine camera and computer use. Cameras will be provided for class use or you can bring your own. A personal flash drive is recommended but not required.

In this course, students will create an 8×8 digital scrapbook by going through step-by-step lessons that include a video tutorial and a PDF guide that leads students through the lesson techniques. The class starts off with an introduction to Photoshop. Students will learn how to open and close Photoshop documents, add photographs to a Quickpage, use clipping masks to add photos or patterned paper, add .png embellishments, add type and lettering, draw clipping masks, save files for both print and the web, and prepare their files for printing.

Gateway to 5K will be an exciting transition to 5-year old kindergarten. This class will be appropriate for children regardless of previous school or play setting experiences. This program will help ease the transition to 4K by providing students with the opportunity to interact with others their own age. With a focus on socialization, children will enjoy games, songs, stories, and projects. This class is for students who have little or no golf experience. Students will learn the fundamentals of golf and will also be encouraged to experience the different types of golf such as foot golf, disc golf, and tennis golf. Please bring a five or seven iron for the first week of school.

Take your handwriting skills from blasé to beautiful in order to create some of the hottest products on the market. In this class, students will learn the ins and outs of the newest trend: hand lettering. From greeting cards, to canvas, to chalkboards, to signs, handlettering is everywhere. Students will learn the basics of writing different fonts, adding flourishes, and designing complete projects. We will be writing with different mediums including pencil, marker, pen, and chalk. Students will complete one full project at the end. Some knowledge and proficiency in cursive needed.
