Available positions:

Paraprofessional – Special Services, Maple Avenue Elementary School, 28 hrs/week 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday

Qualifications: Knowledge of and the ability to assist in the instruction of reading, mathematics and writing instruction; successful experience working with young children; working with students with emotional and behavioral challenges preferred; ability to use word processing/computer equipment; certification (or certifiable) by DPI as a Special Education Program Aide; Two years of study at an institution of higher education, an associate’s degree (or higher), or high school  graduation and such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education finds appropriate and acceptable.

Position Goal: To assist the teacher or other certified personnel in achieving teaching objectives by working with students with special education needs in special education classroom and/or small group settings. Other responsibilities include support students with special needs in the general education classroom, facilitate effective communication between the special and general education teaching staff, and assist students with special needs with medical and/or daily living needs.

Manager of Information Technology, Hamilton School District, 1.0 FTE

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering or related field is preferred.  Experienced administration of Microsoft, Macintosh, Linux, VMware, and other network technologies; hardware and software certifications preferred.  Three to five years’ experience in network/technical support in an educational or related setting preferred.  Experience with switch, router and firewall configuration and management.  Experience with enterprise deployment strategies.  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, customer support representatives and the general public.

Position Goal: We are looking for an IT manager to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our District’s computing needs.  The successful candidate will have proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practices.  Experience managing IT staff, controlling and evaluating IT operations, and oversee technology and computers systems for the district day to day.

Compensation: $95,000 – $105,000 ranger per year plus generous benefit package.
