Head Football Coach, Hamilton High School

Qualifications: Experience in coaching football. Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, parents and community; organized; leadership and supervision experience, organized and self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.

Paraprofessional – Special Services, Maple Avenue Elementary School, 28.75 hrs/week 8:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday-Friday

Qualifications: Knowledge of and the ability to assist in the instruction of reading, mathematics and writing instruction; successful experience working with young children; working with students with emotional and behavioral challenges preferred; ability to use word processing/computer equipment; certification (or certifiable) by DPI as a Special Education Program Aide; Two years of study at an institution of higher education, an associate’s degree (or higher), or high school  graduation and such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education finds appropriate and acceptable.

Position Goal: To assist the teacher or other certified personnel in achieving teaching objectives by working with students with special education needs in special education classroom and/or small group settings. Other responsibilities include support students with special needs in the general education classroom, facilitate effective communication between the special and general education teaching staff, and assist students with special needs with medical and/or daily living needs.

Paraprofessional – Instructional & Supervision, Woodside Elementary School, 28.75 hrs/week 9:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday

Qualifications: Ability to build strong relationships with children and adults, ability to communicate instructions and directions clearly and effectively to students, experience working with computers, possess strong communication, collaboration, problem solving and organization skills; previous work in a classroom setting and/or teaching experience preferred.

Position Goal: Under the direction of the classroom teacher, assist students on an individual basis or in small groups with academic and/or social skills; assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and aid in correcting papers; supervise testing and make-up work; supervise students in the lunchroom and on the playground and other duties as assigned.
